It's a tough break for fantasy managers as Cobb winds up with a much tougher assignment. It'll presumably be a bullpen game for the Giants on Friday evening.

However, the truly alarming variable here is that he generated zero swinging strikes on his secondary pitches. He finished with just three strikeouts and didn't hand out a free pass. The 25-year-old righty has given up at least five earned runs in two of his last three outings. He'll aim for better results on Tuesday when he faces the Marlins in Seattle.

Tyler Holton will start on Thursday against the Phillies.

Jun 07   5:24 PM
