White Sox general manager Rick Hahn told reporters that Liam Hendriks' symptoms are similar to the flexor strain he suffered last season.

Hendriks missed three weeks last summer with a right flexor strain. Hahn said it is still too soon for an exact diagnosis, and his status will be updated before the White Sox' three-game series against the Dodgers on Tuesday.


Angels optioned RHP Gerardo Reyes to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Reyes allowed a run and struck out none in his lone inning of work on Saturday. He will return to Triple-A Salt Lake and serve as organization depth for the Angels.


Rockies selected the contract of INF Coco Montes from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Montes was hitting .321/.401/.560 with 12 homers and four stolen bases in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. He will take Alan Trejo's spot on the roster as the Rockies look to shake up their lineup.

Trejo hit .241/.271/.313 with four steals across 119 plate appearances for the Rockies this season but will head back to Triple-A as the Rockies look to shake up their lineup. He will serve as organizational depth while in Triple-A.


Rockies placed OF Charlie Blackmon on the 10-day injured list with a right hand fracture.

Ouch. Blackmon was absent from Saturday's game against the Padres, and this injury could have played a part in that. The team has not announced how long the veteran will miss. Stay tuned.

Elias Díaz left Saturday's game after being hit in the face mask by a foul tip. Serven will likely be Austin Wynns's backup if Diaz were to miss significant time.


Rockies transferred RHP Antonio Senzatela to the 60-day injured list.

Senzatela landed on the injured list in early May with a right elbow strain. This move is just procedural, and there has not been a setback in the 28-year-old's recovery.


Elias Diaz (head) is not in the Rockies' starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Padres.

Díaz was lifted from Saturday's game after taking a foul tip to the face mask. He was shaken up, but manager Bud Black said the veteran felt okay after the game. He will get some much-needed rest and could be back in the lineup Monday for a three-game series against the Red Sox in Boston.


Dodgers selected the contract of LHP Adam Kolarek from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Kolarek has pitched well since inking a minor league deal with the Dodgers last winter. The 34-year-old has a 2.18 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 12/11 K/BB ratio across 21 appearances. 


Dodgers optioned RHP Andre Jackson to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Jackson pitched three innings and picked up a save Saturday but was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City as the Dodgers selected Adam Kolarek's contract. He will return to the Dodgers bullpen soon.


Dodgers transferred OF Trayce Thompson to the 60-day injured list.

Nothing has changed in Thompson's prognosis, as this is just a procedural move to add Adam Kolarek to the 40-man roster. Thompson remains without a clear timetable to return from an oblique strain.


Tyler O'Neill (back) told reporters that he feels pain-free after being shut down from baseball activities for 10 days.

The 27-year-old outfielder received two cortisone injections and an epidural nerve block after suffering a setback in his recovery earlier this month. He remains on track to restart baseball drills on Thursday and could return to the Cardinals lineup by the end of the month.


Nick Senzel (knee) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Sunday with Triple-A Louisville.

Reds activated RHP Casey Legumina from the 15-day injured list.

Legumina nearly spent a month on the injured list with a right ankle contusion. The 25-year-old pitched well out of the Reds bullpen prior to the injury. Kevin Herget was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding transaction.

White Sox recalled LHP Tanner Banks from Triple-A Charlotte.

Starling Marte is not in the Mets' starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Pirates.
