Seth Brown is not in the Athletics' starting lineup for Sunday's finale against the Marlins.
It appears to be a day off for the 30-year-old slugger as JJ Bleday takes his place in left field against Sandy Alcantara. Brown should return to the A's lineup Monday when they face the Pirates in Pittsburgh.

Moncada will start Sunday's game on the bench as Elvis Andrus fills in a third base against lefty Matthew Boyd. Waters has started the game on the bench for the past two times the Royals have faced a lefty. Since being activated from the injured list, the 24-year-old has struggled --- hitting .227/.261/.364 with a terrifying 39 percent strikeout rate. Jackie Bradley Jr. will bat ninth and patrol center field in his place.
CJ Abrams is not in the Nationals' starting lineup for Sunday's showdown against the Phillies.
CJ Abrams retreats to the bench with lefty Ranger Suárez on the bump for the Phillies. Brewers recalled LHP Bennett Sousa from Triple-A Nashville.
The Brewers dug deep into their bullpen in Saturday's 10-8 win over the Reds and needed a rested reliever. Sousa will take Jake Cousins's place in the bullpen and give manager Craig Counsell another lefty option out of the pen.

Thielbar has been on the injured list since early May with an oblique strain. The 36-year-old made a pair of relief appearances for Triple-A St. Paul and struck out three batters, and allowed one hit. He will come out of the pen in low-leverage situations and isn't a factor for saves.
Andrew McCutchen is not in the Pirates' starting lineup for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals.
It is nothing more than a rest day for the 36-year-old veteran. McCutchen is performing better than expected in his return to Pittsburgh -- hitting .272/.368/.444 with eight home runs and seven swipes across 212 plate appearances. Bryan Reynolds will get a day off from running around the outfield and serve as the designated hitter in McCutchen's absence.
Willson Contreras is not in the Cardinals' lineup for Sunday's finale against the Pirates.
After catching all nine innings Saturday afternoon, Contreras is getting a day off for Sunday morning's contest against the Cardinals. Andrew Knizer will catch and bat ninth in his absence. Contreras should return to the Cardinals' lineup Monday when they face the mighty Texas Rangers in Arlington.
Freddy Tarnok (shoulder) threw a live batting practice session on Saturday.
Tarnok has been on the injured list since late March with a right shoulder strain. The 24-year-old prospect is still without a timetable to return but will need a lengthy rehab assignment to stretch out as a starter.
